A Note To George And Condi From George Washington

"Friendship and commerce with all nations, entangling alliances with none." George Washington

Dear President Bush and Secretary State Rice,

Even though the above quote was scribed in 1796, it is still relevant in today's society for many reasons.

War has been the cause for the downfall of many empires, including Rome, bankrupting our Republic to the point of recklessly inflating, and/or turning the economy into a cesspool of recessive failures.

The fact is that your policies has not aided the twenty first century version of the United States, bankrupting this great country with your foreign policy of empire building while also expanding your power of global embargoes. The consequence of this lack of commerce creates less trade while going hand in hand with war expenditures, eventually increasing national debt even higher.

Do you want your republic to end up resembling the fallen Roman empire? You better use caution in the final days of office because morality will define your legacy.

Respectfully Submitted,

George Washington
